is the retrieval-augmented generation (rag) ai assistant that connects to athenaeum or integrates with existing document management systems. users can ask questions in natural language and receive cited answers linked to the exact files and pages they came from, reducing the need to open and search through documents themselves. citations are clickable and open a preview at the relevant page when the source needs to be reviewed. when a question cannot be answered from stored files, lexicon can use the underlying model’s general knowledge while keeping document-based answers clearly tied to their sources.

extracts data from athenaeum, company systems, or external sources and transforms it into structured records without requiring users to manually read and enter information from documents. extracted values can be highlighted in a document preview panel for review, editing, and validation when human approval is required. as part of our mission to solve enterprise document work, we aim to eliminate the need for human-in-the-loop review wherever the required level of reliability can be demonstrated through rigorous evaluations, validation rules, and guardrails. in those cases, hermes can deliver records directly to destination systems such as ERPs, databases, and apps.
